Here are some considerations to help you celebrate during World Candle Month

Safety – Making sure every wick is cut, every candle is extinguished properly, and most importantly never left unattended.

Decorate – Candles can be used decoratively lit or unlit. Place some pillars on the mantle, arrange a variety of candles as a centerpiece, or get uniquely shaped candles and place them on shelves throughout your home. No matter your personal aesthetic, there are affordable candle décor options for everyone.

Scent – Beyond an appealing scent, it’s important to consider your candles throw, meaning how far the scent travels lit or unlit. This is important to keep in mind when picking candles for your home. For larger rooms, you’ll need a candle with a larger throw or more candles.

Wax – From paraffin to soy to beeswax, all are non-toxic and provide different characteristics that benefit each candle in their own unique way. Beeswax provides a hint of honey smell to the fragrance while paraffin tends to hold scent stronger. Each burns the same, allowing for the best experience.

Aromatherapy – Candles are not only aesthetic but provide immense aromatherapy benefits as well. From peppermint that energizes to ylang ylang that relaxes, candle lovers have a plethora of options.
